After work and school, it's so important to have a routine in place to center your mind, body and spirit. It's also important to be prepared for the next day. A solid routine improves your quality of sleep, as your body eventually adapts to when it's time to wind down and drift into a slumber. If you aren't sleeping at least 6 hours a night, please start now. Also, consider trying one or two of these activities. Find out more about my routine below: 7:00 P.M.: Take off clothes, put on robe. 7:05 P.M.: Meditate. (See below for app.) 7:15 P.M.: Eat dinner. (I usually meal prep or order food.) 8:00 P.M.: Watch any shows that are airing on TV. (I loooove TV, especially comedy.) 10:00 P.M.: Shower, do skincare routine, lay out clothes for the next day. (I don't like clutter, so "lay out" really just means "decide in my head.") 11:00 P.M.: Write in journal. 11:10 P.M.: Read. (See below for current book.) 11:30 P.M.: Say prayers, sleep. Do you already have a routine? Let me know below, or tweet me @AlexisJadeL!
Thanks for reading. See you in two weeks! Read or Weep, Alexis Jade
