I've always seen people tweet about the shadiest tv stars, and their rivals who they loved to hate. A few of those are Maxine and Kyle from "Living Single" and Cece and Niles from "The Nanny." As I was binging some of my old faves while social distancing...sheltering at home...all those extra ass terms- I thought of a few myself. Check 'em out!
Dee Dee & Phyllis, "Half & Half"
Not only was the show underrated, this duo never got their flowers for being the comic relief and icons they are in their own rights. They would go at it and roast each other so badly, it hurt MY feelings. In fact, they're the reason for this post in the first place. Just watch (on YouTube) and see for yourself!
Penny and Lacienaga, "The Proud Family"
Ok, so they weren't underrated. We know these rivals very well. HOWWWWEVERRR, we were too young to really catch ALL the shade and it hits way different watching while grown. So get ya Disney+ free trial and binge. You ain't got nothin' else to do.
Mary and Sandra, "227"
Another one that's not so obvious. But anytime I watch this show, I'm reminded of how bad of a friend Mary was to Sandra because times were so different. If this show came back, Mary would be dragged for the way she slut shamed Sandra so damn much. And she was persnickety as hell. Was Mary a Taurus or a Virgo? What y'all think?
Beth and Rio, "Good Girls"
It's very rare in TV that we see rivals with sexual tension remain rivals. These two both want each other dead but both want to make love anytime they see each other. They're a fan favorite, and also why this show needs a renewal so more people can join the bandwagon.
Briana vs Everybody, "Growing Up Hip-Hop"
Of course I had to add reality TV. If you would've asked me at 12 years old if I thought Mary J. Blige's step-daughter would be beefing with Pepa's daughter just 14 years later, I would've looked at you so crazy. But now it's my Thursday night guilty pleasure. Tune in with me at 9 P.M. EST on WeTV. Not sponsored (but shoot, I wish).

I shouldn't have to explain how essential Texas is to the South. The BBQ, the TexMex cuisine, the fairs? Most importantly, the music. These are my Texas Favs. No new school, just old school and some early '00s. Put some 24's on your car and enjoy.
Did I leave any of your favs out? Tweet me @AlexisJadeL so I'll know.
